GREAT When I was looking for a stroller for my new baby I asked my sister-in-law how she felt about the stroller she had. She had nothing but great things to say so I figured I would give it a try as well. I had a big graco stroller for my first two and didn't want another one. I absolutely love this stroller. It is so compact and light. I can lift the whole stroller with the infant car seat attached with one arm. The only down fall is the basket is small but it has an elastic edge so it pulls out easily and you can fit a suprising amount in it. I would definately recommend it to anyone.
Too short This is a nice mattress, however it is actually 15 x 31 1/2 instead of 15 x 33. When I put it in our cradle and saw that it was too short (you can see about an inch of the cradle bottom on both ends) I measured it with a tape measure. I tried to contact the company to see if this one was a mistake, I was told that they are standard size and asked "was I sure that it was too short?". Like they thought I couldn't see the bottom of the cradle and that I couldn't read a tape measure. I will still use the mattress but I have to put a rolled up cradle sheet at the end of it.
Could not have slept w/o it I used this with my newborn until she was 5 or 6 months old. She never had a flat spot on her head. It was great. You can even pull the sides in closer and put the baby on her side (shhh don't tell the pediatrician). I'm buying one for my friend today.
I encourage you to buy from Amazon, but search some other retailers for customer reviews. You'll see this one comes highly rated from hundreds of other users.
Inaccurate Results I bought these swab, took a sampling of paint chips from around the house, put them on a plate, and drowned the chips in the solution from the swab, and swirled the chip around with the swab for over 2 minutes. No sign whatsoever of pink or red. The paint chips included all layers of paint, down to the wood.
I thought all was clear to start stripping my interior trim. But then we had a professional come with an x-ray scanner and he confirmed that all of our trim had relatively high levels of lead.
So, these things gave a false negative for Lead. Very dangerous. Get a professional with an x-ray device.
