Fantasic bib! This bib is absolutely fantastic! I've used other Bumkins bibs and have LOVED those too. However, my 14 month old daughter was able to pull them off and throw them on the floor while she was eating. This Bumkins Junior Bib gives more coverage and my daughter is unable to pull it off. This bib is a life (and clothes) saver!
A big disappointment There are many Elmo toys available to entertain your child; don't buy this one. The puppet "says" just four babbled non-words in "Elmo's voice." A fifth recording is weirdly deep and different; it sings a short ditty called "You did something new today. Hurray, hurray, hurray." The audio is awful -- scratchy and indistinct. The materials are cheap and partly plastic. I can't believe I paid this price for something of such poor quality, nor can I understand why The Children's Television Workshop licensed this toy to represent its vaunted Sesame Street brand. It was probably made in China for $1 a unit -- if that much.
Problems after 9 months of use We were very pleased with our purchase of Icoo Targo and after only nine months of use, the wheel barrings (on the large wheels) collapsed, making the large wheels very wobbly (this is only in NYC streets, no crazy terrain here. We could not find anywhere customer support, the place where we bought it in NYC would not respond to our requests to put us in touch with the manufacturer (Schneiders). Luckily my husband is an engineer and pulled the wheels apart and they are back straight now. When he looked inside the barrings had completely disintegrated.
So if you are looking to buy a stroller of this calibre, please, do yourself a favor and buy the Bugaboo Gecko - same price, higher standard and quality. We have friends that have had one for 5 years now, 3 boys later and it has had absolutely no problems. When we where in the market for one the Gecko was not out yet and $900 for cameleon seemed too steep to us. - Well, cheap always ends up costing more.
Works Great and So Convenient! I looked at all child products to help with keeping track of an active 3 year old (grandson) for a recent Disney trip. My daughter wanted nothing to do with any of the products that she felt were "like a dog on a leash" so I looked for something else. This product was perfect! My grandson liked it on his shoe and even though he was never out of sight it was nice to know we had it. My daughter kept the locator on her belt loop and we actually used it a couple of times when our parties got separated to find one another (via my grandson's shoe)! We never tried to check the distance per the manufacturer's claim, but I would guesstimate it to be correct. A few people actually questioned us about it and thought it was an excellent idea. (Of course we only purchased this for the just in case...we kept him close by at all times - this unit does have a turn off switch on the bear) Worth the money and would definitely purchase again!
