Not for heavy use We originally bought this strictly for a traveling monitor since the one we already had in the nursery was large and mounted on the wall. It worked great for a little while, but slowly it deteriorated. It lasted less than a year, with mild use.
Now, 2 years later, I still have it, but only as a short term backup. Once it's on, it works great for about 5 minutes, then the sound will get so scratchy and loud that I have to turn the volume all the way down. After about 30-45 minutes, the picture will start to go out (lots of lines, fuzziness and jumping).
Maybe we got a faulty model or something go messed up during travel - who knows. But based on my experience, I have not/would not recommend this monitor.
So cute This is a great bodysuit to put on Baby to take him to the museum to see dinosaurs. It has a dinosauar on the butt too! So cute. I use extenders so it still fits him after months.
safety Safty is the main objective and this product does meet that. My 10 month old can easily pull off the edges (mostly goes after the corner pieces). But as long as I keep an eye on him and return the edges to where they belong, they do the job of protecting him should he fall.
Best gift I could find I searched for the very best gift for my sister's first grandson, and this is what I picked. He loves it. She said he plays with it for at least an hour every day. He looks for it as soon as he gets up. He's 18 months old and this will stimulate his imagination. He can pretend it's whatever he wants. You'll see this in many doctors offices, and some kid is always playing with it. The last time we went to the dentist, 2 of my granchildren headed right for this (ages 10 & 12). I'll have to admit the 16 year old wasn't interested. We actually got two toys in one, after he finishes playing with the toy, he plays in the box. 4/13/09 My sister said he still loves this toy. He spends on average an hour a day playing with it. To keep his interest she puts it away occasionally for a week or two, and whan she takes it back out he is happy to see it back.
